Comments: Wow. After Thermal, this top essentially knit itself. I kind of feel like the Peanuts kids on the Christmas Special where they just frantically wave their hands over the Christmas tree and it is instantly decorated. Really all I did to knit this was wave my hands about a lot. 🙂
This sweater was an easy, satisfying knit. The pattern was well written and the Cotton Ease knit up wonderfully. Only thing is for some reason I used slightly more yarn than the pattern indicated was necessary. All told I think this sweater cost me around $25 for the pattern and the yarn. Not bad.
I knit this top with my Denise set instead of my KnitPicks Options because I like being able to connect more length to the cable to try on the top as I go. That really is the biggest drawback for me with the Options set – no connector pieces! Oh well, that’s why I hold on to my Denise set.
Not much else to say about this knit. The only modification I made was I knit the neck on needles one size smaller than the rest of the top. I did this to ensure that the neckline wasn’t too wide and it worked.
What’s next you ask? It’s time for the Summertime Tunic! Details Monday. 🙂
