Incredibly fast and fun knit. I’ll be knitting Cori another one of these in the next size for the fall. The 18 month size fits her nicely right now (she’s almost 11 months old and in the 95th and 75th percentiles on height and weight respectively). I will add a couple more inches to the length next time too as this one hits her right at the waist.
For now I’m leaving the buttons off. She would just try to eat them and I really think this cardigan looks cute open. Tough to photograph the cardigan on her as she is constantly in motion now.
I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and nice to knit the Essential was. Great deal to knit this sweater for $13 (3 balls of essential and $2.50 for the pattern)

Oh, she’s sure growing up, since I last saw her! She’s so precious, and so is the sweater! (What a fabulous pattern/color.) Good call on the buttons.

Adorable Cori. Oh good sweater too!
Question for you. I remember you being great with wool and frugality.
I am in love with Dream in Color but it is so expensive, Allysa. Is there a substitute you know that is close to it in many ways?
Thanks!
My friend from Germany wants me to bring her wool “Socks that rock” and I cannot find them. where could I find them -maybe in the Riverside, Cal / Orange County, Calif area??
Oh my she is so adorable!
That’s so cool that you are coming to the Sock Summit! You’ll have to come and hang at our booth!
